How to Make Chawanmushi ?


Chawanmushi (Steamed Egg Custard Recipe)

Ingredients for Chawanmushi (serves 3)
Egg / Water / Chicken Meat / Mushroom / Higashimaru udon soup powder

~ Egg Mixture
2 eggs
400ml water
1 pac of Higashimaru udon soup powder ( photo attach below, you can get it from Meijiya Mini-Market, at 50C, Jalan Kelawei, Penang, 10250)

Mix the egg, water and the powder. Then Stir it.


After stir, filter the buuble in a seperate bowl.

~ Prepare Cooking

Steam the small bowl around 10 minutes.


Put the Chicken Meat and Mushroom Slice into the bowl.


And  pour in the egg with filter.


Steam for 20 minutes.
